元美容師で元音楽家。ソフトウェアエンジニアへ転身後、受託開発やパッケージ開発を経て有限会社アキュレートシステムを起業。その後、R&Dや海外プロダクトの日本展開など、技術者を支援しビジネスをスケールする BizDev の仕事や Developer Advocacy の仕事へシフトし、MKI(三井情報)では初のTechnical Evangelistとなる。その経験を活かし IBM では米国本社組織の Developer Advocate Team に所属し Tokyo Team の立ち上げに従事。 その他複数の外資系企業にてAPACのエンジニアコミュニティとアドボカシーを担当し現職に至る。2017年からMicrosoft MVP 。
著書に「はじめてのNode-RED」「Node-RED活用マニュアル」「Practical Node-RED Programming」「開発者マーケティング DevRel Q&A」「英語で広がる開発者のキャリア」など。

Taiji is a Developer Advocate and Community Marketing expert with over 25 years of experience in software development, developer relations, and technical evangelism. After beginning his career in music and later transitioning into software engineering, he founded Accurate Systems before becoming the first Technical Evangelist at MKI (Mitsui Knowledge Industry). He subsequently joined IBM’s U.S. Developer Advocate team, where he helped establish the Tokyo Developer Advocate team. Since then, he has led Developer Advocacy and community programs across APAC for several global technology companies. Taiji also serves as a lecturer at the University of Tsukuba and Meijo University, has been a Microsoft MVP since 2017, is a Fellow of the Association for Promotion of Community Marketing, and has authored multiple technical books, including Practical Node-RED Programming.
