元美容師で元音楽家。ソフトウェアエンジニアへ転身後、受託開発やパッケージ開発を経て有限会社アキュレートシステムを起業。その後、R&Dや海外プロダクトの日本展開など、技術者を支援しビジネスをスケールする BizDev の仕事や Developer Advocacy の仕事へシフトし、MKI(三井情報)では初のTechnical Evangelistとなる。その経験を活かし IBM では米国本社組織の Developer Advocate Team に所属し Tokyo Team の立ち上げをリード。 その他複数の外資系企業にてAPACのエンジニアコミュニティとアドボカシーを担当し現職に至る。2017年からMicrosoft MVP 。

Taiji is a Senior Developer Advocate at Datadog.
He is the Co-Founder and a Board Director of the End-User Computing Association, as well as a Fellow of Association for Promotion of Community Marketing. He also serves as a part-time lecturer at the University of Tsukuba and Meijo University.
Nickname: Taiji
Originally a hairstylist and musician, he shifted his career into software engineering, working in contract development and packaged software before founding Accurate System, Inc. He later moved into roles focused on supporting engineers and scaling technology businesses - ranging from R&D to launching international products in the Japanese market - as well as Developer Advocacy and BizDev.
At MKI (Mitsui Knowledge Industry), he became the company’s first Technical Evangelist. He then joined IBM, where he was part of the U.S. based Developer Advocate Team and led establishing the Tokyo team. After serving in several global tech companies supporting engineering communities and advocacy across the APAC region, he assumed his current role. He has been a Microsoft MVP since 2017.
He is the author of several books, including Hajimete no Node-RED, Node-RED Katsuyou Manual, Practical Node-RED Programming, Developer Marketing DevRel Q&A, and Developers’ Careers Expanded Through English.
